Akshay Kumar has signed to be the brand ambassador of Levi's 501. He has also been seen walking the ramp for Levi's India, earlier in Mumbai. Levis India is now going to produce first collaborative advertisement in India featuring Akshay Kumar. According to Bollywood Hungama a contest will be conducted by Levi Strauss India among the youngsters of India, on a website. The winners of the contest will be scripting and directing the advertisement for the company.
The young ambitions of India will be writing their own concepts for the ad in that contest. The contestants will be uploading videos of their previous work experience and will convince why they should be given this chance. Akshay Kumar and Levi's India will be in the judging panel and will start working with the winners by November this year. The ad is expected to be out by December 2008. Levi Strauss India is giving the youngsters a platform to work with Akshay, says Shyam Sukhramani, Marketing Director of the company.
